NômFlow is an AI-assisted learning platform designed to make chữ Nôm more accessible to students, researchers, educators, and anyone interested in Vietnam's written heritage. Developed by Albert Errickson as part of the Digitizing Vietnam initiative, NômFlow combines modern educational technology with curated historical resources to create an engaging environment for learning, reading, and exploring Hán-Nôm texts. Rather than treating chữ Nôm as a collection of isolated characters, the platform emphasizes contextual learning through authentic literature, historical documents, and structured vocabulary collections, helping users build both linguistic proficiency and a deeper appreciation of Vietnam's literary and cultural traditions.

At the heart of the platform is the Dashboard, which serves as each learner's personalized study hub. Users can track their learning progress, access personalized study sessions, review vocabulary, and easily navigate between learning materials. The dashboard integrates AI-assisted learning tools with a growing repository of curated content, allowing learners to progress at their own pace while tracking their mastery of Nôm characters and texts.

Complementing the learning experience is the NômFlow Library, a curated collection of classical works, historical manuscripts, and thematic vocabulary lists. The library currently features iconic literary masterpieces such as Truyện Kiều by Nguyễn Du and Lục Vân Tiên by Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, alongside a Standard Nôm Curriculum that introduces characters through graded frequency lists for systematic learning. Learners can also explore specialized collections such as Common Animals, as well as transcriptions of eighteenth-century Vietnamese Catholic texts—including the Hail Mary (Kinh A-ve), Apostles' Creed (Kinh Tin Kính), and Lord's Prayer (Kinh Thiên Chúa)—which preserve an important tradition of early Vietnamese Christian writing in chữ Nôm. Each collection can be activated as a personalized study set, enabling users to study vocabulary directly within meaningful literary and historical contexts.

Currently released as Beta 1.0, NômFlow continues to evolve through community feedback and ongoing development. Its long-term vision is to become a comprehensive ecosystem for learning, research, and preservation of Vietnam's Hán-Nôm heritage, bringing together artificial intelligence, digital humanities, and traditional scholarship to ensure that centuries of Vietnamese textual heritage remain accessible to future generations.
